About the Job

Pay

Drivers average $87,500 per year. Earn $1,682 per week.

Schedule

Be home daily with a Tuesday through Saturday schedule! Start times will vary between 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Drivers are usually home every night, but if a layover occurs you will be paid for your 10-hour break!

Equipment

Drive an assigned 2022 or newer Freightliner! This account is no-touch freight, all drop and hook. If a truck needs repairs, it's not going out until it is 100% ready. Tank endorsement is required.

What does a typical day look like for a Ruan Driver in Clear Lake, Iowa?

Drivers on this account will start their day in Clear Lake with an empty trailer, drop the empty in Corwith, IA, or Malcom, IA, hook a preloaded trailer and take it to processing plants in either Lenox, IA Britt, IA, or Gaylord, MN.

Minimum Requirements

  • Must be at least 22 years or older
  • No more than three moving violations in the past three years (some restrictions apply)
  • No more than one DOT recordable preventable accident in the last three years
  • Additional qualifications will apply
  • With the Department of Transportation's Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse in effect, all applicants must create a profile at fmcsa.dot.gov before being hired
  • 9 months of tractor-trailer experience within the past three years
