To celebrate Ruan Transport Corporation’s philanthropic founder, Ruan employees will participate together in a variety of volunteer activities throughout July as part of Founder’s Days.


The U.S. Chamber of Commerce recently named John Ruan III as its vice chairman for 2010. Ruan is chairman and CEO of Ruan Transport Corporation in Des Moines, Iowa.


Ruan Transport Corporation today announced that it has named Jim Mulvenna to the new position of Senior Vice President and General Manager, Dairy and Bulk Food Transport Division, based in Tulare, Calif. Mulvenna brings over 25 years of management and operational experience to this new position.


John Ruan, founder of Ruan Transportation Management Systems (Ruan), passed away on February 13, 2010. Mr. Ruan was born on February 11, 1914 and died at the age of 96.
