Ruan Transportation Management Systems has once again been chosen for Food Logistics’ Top Green Provider List. This list recognizes companies whose products, services or exemplary leadership is enhancing sustainability within the food and beverage industry.
Environmental stewardship has long been one of Ruan’s top priorities. We strive to continuously examine our processes to ensure that we minimize our impact on the environment while achieving efficiency, responsiveness and cost savings for our customers.

Several of Ruan’s customers, including Seneca Foods, Menards, Arctic Cat, Bobcat and Fair Oaks Farms, are serviced through compressed natural gas (CNG) fleets—reducing our carbon footprint. Ruan is an official SmartWay Partner, a three-time SmartWay Excellence Award recipient, and participates in a Carrier and Shipper Stakeholder leadership group and the National Clean Fleets Partnership (NCFP).
