Billing Coordinator

Efficiently and accurately create invoices and compile required supplemental reports for dedicated accounts and brokerage in compliance with contractual obligations and complete final settlements for driver pay.  Provide wide range of auditing functions depending on business needs.   
 
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare daily, weekly, bi-weekly, monthly and miscellaneous invoices for multiple customers.  Requires compiling information from multiple sources, auditing information in R2.0, and referencing customer agreements when necessary.
  • Manage customer billing requirements and prepare supplemental billing documents as necessary.  Respond to one-off customer requests for billing information and supporting documents.
  • Interact with other departments and perform special tasks to obtain and/or coordinate customer billing and accounts receivable information.
  • Coordinate and analyze customer billing and accounts receivable management.  Provide support to AR personnel to ensure appropriate payment application.  Monitor accounts receivable to ensure proper allocation of credits. Perform write offs when approved by management.
  • Prepare final settlements for driver payroll and audit driver pay for multiple operations.
  • Document and maintain accurate and current billing and pay procedures across multiple accounts and rate structures.
Requirements:
  • Associate, Vocational, or Technical Degree or equivalent work experience
    Course(s) of Study:  Business, Management, Accounting.
  • 1-2 years’ clerical experience doing billing, accounts receivable, payable or bookkeeping work.
  • Employee must have strong math skills with the ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages.  Must have basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office products, with proficiency in MS Excel.  Must have good analytical skills and strong attention to detail and accuracy.  Must have demonstrated ability to carry out detailed written and oral instructions.  Employee must have an articulate and courteous phone voice.  Requires ability to set priorities and accomplish duties with little supervision and direction in a timely manner.
