Associate Business Analyst 
Under minimal guidance, supports both internal and external users with system troubleshooting and issue resolution.  Ensure issue resolution processes are documented and standard operating procedures are communicated across team members.  Responsible for collecting and understanding business requirements and implementing system configuration changes to meet or exceed those requirements on smaller scale projects.

Responsibilities
  • Support both internal and external users with system troubleshooting and issue resolution.
  • Document issue resolution processes and communicate standard operating procedures across team members.
  • Analyze and evaluate existing or proposed business systems and processes to identify and implement improvements and opportunities to meet business unit objectives in smaller, less complex processes.  
  • Recommend system changes, documents business rules as well as conduct “as-is” and “to-be” process flowchart processes and documents the results.
  • Create user stories/use cases, process & data flows and scenarios to clearly communicate a set of functional requirements.  
  • Provide input and support the development of business and functional specifications via phone, E-mail, and onsite requirements gathering sessions.
  • Participate in workshops with multiple stakeholders from technology, business and vendor teams, and then concisely document their outcome.  
  • Resolve business problems for internal and external customers by utilizing problem solving and analytical skills and documenting the "why" and "what" of the business problem.
  • Communicate with software architects and developers utilizing technical background.
  • Perform other job- related duties and special projects as required.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education Course(s) of study: Business, Computer Science, MIS, or BCIS.
  • Individual must have demonstrated high analytical and problem-solving abilities since they are very critical to the success. 
  • OTM experience a plus. 
  • Must have a technical background and ability to communicate with software architects and developers. 
  •  Must have excellent communication written and oral and the ability to persuasively communicate ideas to others.  
  • Must have documentation and communication skills.  
  • Requires excellent presentation skills.  
  • Must be able to communicate analytical and process information to non-analytical staff.   
  • Job requires documentation of business and data requirements, attention to detail.  
  • Requires ability to create user stories/use cases, process & Data flows and scenarios to clearly communicate a set of functional requirements. 
  • Must be excellent at conducting workshops with multiple stakeholders from technology, business and vendor teams, and then concisely documenting their outcome.  
  • Requires good customer service and relationship building.
