Sr. Workstation Administrator
Lead the selection, configuration, installation and inventory of the IT end user equipment which may include onboard computers, desktops, laptops, and/or printers, BYOD, smart phones, faxes, printers, tablets  for the enterprise and field end users.  
  • Lead the selection, inventory and support of end-user IT equipment
  • Lead the configuration and testing of new equipment and operating systems to ensure all equipment are in good working condition and meets the business needs and requirements.
  • Install hardware, load programs/operating systems, and prepare IT equipment for end users.
  • Develop operational and procedural documentation (SOPs) and ensure adherence and continual process improvement.
  • Develop and implement approved strategies.  
  • Research, recommend and collaborate on equipment so they meet architecture standards and IT strategy.
  • Participate in vendor management.  
  • Monitor Service Level Agreements to ensure accurate billing and service delivery.  
  • Allocate costs to users.
  • Analyze data and identify trends and variables impacting profitability and efficiency.  
  • Identify abnormalities, proactively research to determine the cause and present to the organization to determine direction.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable licensing agreements and enabling operations to meet regulatory guidelines.
  • Provide technical mentoring , leadership and training to other team members.  
  • Manage day to day tasks to provide a high level of customer service to end-users. 
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and/or resource to others.  
  • Provide second level support to others.
  • Perform other job-related duties and special projects as required.
  • Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent work experience (or Associate Degree working on Bachelors) 
    • Course(s) of Study: Information Technology or related discipline. Completion of Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) preferred. 
  • 6-9 years’ experience working with Microsoft products and operating systems.

  • Employee must have knowledge of technologies and how they can be leveraged to meet business needs. Likewise, employee should have strong working knowledge of MS Windows Operating System and all applicable hardware and software programs. 
  • Employee should have demonstrated ability to carry out detailed written and oral instructions.  
  • Excellent interpersonal skills are necessary.  
  • Ability to prioritize work under limited time constraints. 
  • Ability to set priorities and accomplish duties of position with little supervision and direction
  • Occasionally required to move up to 75 pounds with assistance. 
  • Must have ability to operate office equipment; including telephone, fax machine, personal computer, have reasonable accuracy and speed on ten key skills or/and keyboarding; bend, twist, pull, push and lift up to 25 pounds to accomplish duties of the position.
  • Employee will be required to stand, walk, sit, use fingers, reach with arms, talk and listen frequently.  
  • Employee will occasionally be required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. Some travel may be required.  
  • Needs to be able to provide 24/7 support
  • Normal office environment.  Terminal visits that may require climbing into a tractor or in a Ruan Shop to review installation & wiring of the On-Board equipment and wiring.
