Transparency In Coverage- On behalf of Ruan Benefits medical plans, Wellmark Blue Cross Blue Shield and HealthSparq creates and publishes machine-readable files regarding transparency of coverage. To access these files, click on the title link above. Note that the file is in Java Script Object Notation format (.json.gz) as required by law. Summary Plan Description (SPD)
An SPD is a booklet or certificate that describes each plan in greater detail. It covers eligibility rules, covered benefits, procedures that may be excluded, employee rights and the appeals process. SPD's for each Ruan plan is available on the employee Hub portal.
