Hired Nearly 1,600 Professional Drivers

Despite the national driver shortage, Ruan hired nearly 1,600 professional drivers during 2016.

Our professional drivers are essential to our success, and we employ the finest fleet in the industry. Drivers are usually dedicated to a single customer; receive in-depth training; earn safety and employee recognition awards; and operate well-maintained, late-model equipment. This has contributed to a team of satisfied drivers, reflected in Ruan’s retention rate, which is five times the industry average.
