Ruan is happy to feature several of our team members across the country in our People First Spotlight. Meet Tony Quesinberry, Facilities Coordinator at the Des Moines Campus.
Q: Tell us a little about your career path and background.
Prior to Ruan, I managed large distribution operations. Managing people in a fast-paced distribution environment is very rewarding. I had the opportunity to travel to many client locations in the U.S. I enjoyed providing 3PL services to a broad client base and having an awesome team supporting our efforts.
Q: What do you enjoy most about working for Ruan?
I joined Ruan in June of 2022 after a brief retirement. I am still learning the business, but I have greatly enjoyed getting to know the team and working daily with many different departments. There is a passion for doing things right.
Q: What is your favorite memory during your time at Ruan?
Ruan does a good job of making everyone aware of what is happening around the company at every level. Meeting the drivers on-site here in Des Moines during their recognition event was a great privilege.
Q: What excites you about Ruan’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion efforts?
I have always enjoyed working with people who bring different life experiences to the workplace. I applaud Ruan’s efforts to create an inclusive work environment.
Q: What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
I am married and a long-time Ankeny, IA, resident. I like to play golf and spend as much time as possible with our granddaughter. We also spend lots of time in Ames supporting Iowa State University sports!
