About the Job

Ruan is expanding its partnership with our dedicated customer, Target, in Wilton, NY.  Drivers on this account help move critical freight to serve the retail industry. This position is 90% drop and hook hauling retail products in dry van trailers for our dedicated customer, Target.  For more information, please call our Recruiting Hotline at (800) 879-7826. 

 

Pay

Get paid weekly and average $83,000 per year, earning activity-based paid $0.63 per mile for p.m. or weekend shifts, plus $25 per stop. Drivers can earn a $50 safety bonus each week. Top earners are averaging $94,000 per year.  

Schedule

Enjoy the benefit of being home every day with flexible days off during the week or choose split days off.  Split days include one weekend day.  All shifts start between 7a.m. - 11 a.m. or 7 p.m. -11 p.m.  Current schedules with days off are Monday/Tuesday, Wednesday/Thursday, or split days off on Wednesday and Saturday.

Equipment

Transport retail products using late-model Freightliner Day Cabs with dry van trailers.

Minimum Requirements

  • Must be at least 22 years or older
  • No more than three moving violations in the past three years (some restrictions apply)
  • No more than one DOT recordable preventable accident in the last three years
  • Additional qualifications will apply
  • With the Department of Transportation's Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse in effect, all applicants must create a profile at fmcsa.dot.gov before being hired
  • 9 months of tractor-trailer experience within the past three years
