About the Job

Ruan is expanding its partnership with our dedicated customer, Target.  Drivers on this account help move critical freight to serve the retail industry. This position is 90% drop and hook hauling retail products in dry van trailers for our dedicated customer, Target.  Drivers will be based in South Portland.  For more information, please call our Recruiting Hotline at (800) 879-7826. 

 

 

Pay

Get paid weekly and average $88,000 to 94,000 per year, earning activity-based paid $0.63 per mile for p.m. or weekend shifts, plus $25 per stop. Drivers can earn a $50 safety bonus each week.

Schedule

Enjoy the benefit of being home every day.  Current schedules are Thursday to Monday starting between 4 a.m. to 7 a.m.  Drivers will start at in South Portland with an empty trailer running routes in reverse to Wilton NY to pick up a loaded trailer, then make deliveries in South Portland or Biddeford., ME. 

Equipment

Transport retail products using late-model Freightliner Day Cabs with dry van trailers.

Minimum Requirements

  • Must be at least 22 years or older
  • No more than three moving violations in the past three years (some restrictions apply)
  • No more than one DOT recordable preventable accident in the last three years
  • With the Department of Transportation's Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse in effect, all applicants must create a profile at fmcsa.dot.gov before being hired
  • 9 months of tractor-trailer experience within the past three years
  • Must be able to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, understand highway traffic signs and signals in English, respond to official inquiries, and make entries on reports and records
  • Additional qualifications will apply
