About the Job

Ruan is hiring Class A CDL driver and yard spotter in Fort Wayne, IN, to support our dedicated customer. This hybrid yard spotter-driver will operate a yard tractor and take trailers in and out of docks as well as make truckload deliveries approximately 4 times a week. Pay

Earn $25.75 per hour plus overtime after 40 hours.

Schedule

Be home daily with a Tuesday through Saturday schedule. A.M. start times will vary but drivers are notified when the load is ready; usually by 10 a.m.

  • Tuesday through Friday this hybrid position will take truckloads and be home daily- occasionally will also be backup yard spotter
  • Saturday 5 a.m. start time yard spotter

Equipment

Operate a yard tractor and take trailers in and out of docks. Drive a Day Cab when making deliveries. Class A CDL required.

Minimum Requirements

  • Must be at least 22 years or older
  • No more than three moving violations in the past three years (some restrictions apply)
  • No more than one DOT recordable preventable accident in the last three years
  • With the Department of Transportation's Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse in effect, all applicants must create a profile at fmcsa.dot.gov before being hired
  • 9 months of tractor-trailer experience within the past three years
  • Must be able to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, understand highway traffic signs and signals in English, respond to official inquiries, and make entries on reports and records
  • Additional qualifications will apply
