About the Job
Ruan is hiring experienced CDL A drivers to haul batteries for our dedicated nationwide customer, Clarios. Pay
Earn $31.50 per hour with overtime after 40 hours, pay is based on your on duty time and drive time. You will be averaging $1,900 per week and $103,000 per year with an additional tax-advantaged per diem at $25, paid for each qualifying layover. Drivers are paid every Friday.
Schedule
Drivers depart on Sunday afternoon with multi stops loads, and may take 2-3 loads per week. Drivers will see consistent weekly home time.
Equipment
Drivers are assigned automatic late-model Freightliner Sleeper cabs. This position requires driver unload at each stop using a lift gate and electric pallet jack. Hazmat is required and Ruan can help you obtain it within 60 days of hire.

Minimum Requirements

Must be at least 22 years or older
-
No more than three moving violations in the past three years (some restrictions apply)

No more than one DOT recordable preventable accident in the last three years

With the Department of Transportation's Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse in effect, all applicants must create a profile at fmcsa.dot.gov before being hired

9 months of tractor-trailer experience within the past three years

Must be able to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, understand highway traffic signs and signals in English, respond to official inquiries, and make entries on reports and records
