About the Job

Ruan is looking for Class A drivers who want to take their career to the next level. We are looking for drivers that want to move beyond transporting standard freight and step into a higher tier of professional driving.

This position will transport and deliver liquid oxygen, nitrogen, or argon for our dedicated customer. Cryogenic liquids are used in a variety of food, medical, and industrial applications from the production of food and beverages, care of medical patients, welding and cutting, manufacturing of vehicles and equipment, to the manufacturing of windows, and everything in between. 

Because these products support essential functions, we need drivers who are looking to advance in their career and contribute to this high-trust segment of the transportation industry.

We are willing to train on tanker and hazmat to help you to obtain your endorsements, as long as the process is initiated upon hire. We want to help you excel and succeed in this career advancement move.

Pay

This role earns more with the training and professionalism that it requires. Get paid weekly while earning an average $1,900 per week, $.6425 per mile, $29 per stop, and $29 per hour detention pay. Shift differentials offer the potential to earn an additional $6,000 - $10,000 per year. Annually, drivers are earning an average of $100,000+ per year. We also offer a longevity incentive of additional pay per mile after three years.

Drivers on this account can also earn up to an additional $2,040 per year in safety bonuses! 

Schedule

Enjoy a consistent schedule of being home daily with at least two consecutive days off!

Equipment

Drive late-model Day Cabs and haul a hazmat tanker of oxygen/nitrogen/argon. A tanker and hazmat endorsement is required. Obtaining a tanker endorsement is quick and only requires passing a test, while a hazmat endorsement is a longer process. We will train drivers once they’ve initiated the endorsement process, allowing time for completion during training!

Minimum Requirements

  • Must be at least 22 years or older
  • No more than three moving violations in the past three years (some restrictions apply)
  • No more than one DOT recordable preventable accident in the last three years
  • Additional qualifications will apply
  • With the Department of Transportation's Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse in effect, all applicants must create a profile at fmcsa.dot.gov before being hired
  • 9 months of tractor-trailer experience within the past three years
