About the Job

Ruan is hiring full-time yard spotters and shuttle drivers to be based in Tyler, TX, to service our dedicated customer. Class A CDL required and previous yard experience is preferred, but not required. For more information, please call our Recruiting Hotline at (800) 879-7826.

Pay

Earn $20.85 per hour, receiving overtime pay after 40 hours per week. Drivers are paid a $1.00 shift differential working the third shift.

Schedule

Enjoy a Sunday through Thursday schedule! We're currently hiring for third shift. Spotters will work a 12-hour shift on Sunday from 6:30 p.m. - 6:30 a.m. Spotters will work 7-hour shifts Monday to Thursday from 11:30 p.m. - 6:30 a.m. There is also potential for overtime work when covering for vacancies on other shifts.

Equipment

Yard drivers will utilize a yard tractor to spot 53’ dry van trailers. Shuttle drivers will utilize day cabs to shuttle trailers between warehouses. Class A CDL is required and previous yard experience is preferred, but not required. After completing orientation, drivers receive a work boot voucher for a new pair of boots.

Minimum Requirements

  • Must be at least 22 years or older
  • No more than three moving violations in the past three years (some restrictions apply)
  • No more than one DOT recordable preventable accident in the last three years
  • Additional qualifications will apply
  • With the Department of Transportation's Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse in effect, all applicants must create a profile at fmcsa.dot.gov before being hired
  • 9 months of tractor-trailer experience within the past three years
