About the Job

Ruan is looking Class A CDL drivers to be based in Henderson, NV, to haul bread and cake products in dry van trailers for our dedicated customer, Flowers. For more information, please call our Recruiting Hotline at (800) 879-7826.

Pay

Earn a flat rate of $246.75 per day, translating to an $70,000 - $72,000 per year and $1,230+ per week. Drivers have the potential to make $280 - $300 per day. There's additional earning potential, receiving $25.73 per hour for activity-based pay when spotting/moving trailers for the customer in the yard upon request. Each trailer move pays $5.05.

Schedule

Enjoy a home daily schedule with 2 nonconsecutive days off. Drivers have 10-to-12-hour shifts with afternoon start times, making runs from Henderson, NV, to Fontana, CA.

Equipment

Drive late-model Freightliner Day Cabs with 53' dry van trailers. These are drop and hook runs.

Minimum Requirements

  • Must be at least 22 years or older
  • No more than three moving violations in the past three years (some restrictions apply)
  • No more than one DOT recordable preventable accident in the last three years
  • With the Department of Transportation's Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse in effect, all applicants must create a profile at fmcsa.dot.gov before being hired
  • 9 months of tractor-trailer experience within the past three years
  • Must be able to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, understand highway traffic signs and signals in English, respond to official inquiries, and make entries on reports and records
