Pay

Earn an average $94,000 to $102,000 per year based on Route.  Drivers are paid by miles, stops, and a $50 weekly bonus. Plus, enjoy an average of 40% to 60% employee discount on Do it Best Hardware products!

Schedule

Be home weekly with weekends off.   Drivers have set schedules and dedicated routes with multi stop deliveries on this account. Available shifts are Sunday to Wednesday, Sunday to Thursday and Monday to Friday, departing from Ramsey, MN 10 to pick up product in Milbank, SD, then make deliveries in Minnesota, North and South Dakota, and Western Nebraska and Colorado averaging 1700 to 2100 weekly miles and up to 32 stops per week.

Equipment

Haul in 2024 Freightliner Sleepers with preloaded heated trailers. Use a powerlift manual pallet jack to tailgate pallets with some driver unload.

Minimum Requirements

  • Must be at least 22 years or older
  • No more than three moving violations in the past three years (some restrictions apply)
  • No more than one DOT recordable preventable accident in the last three years
  • With the Department of Transportation's Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse in effect, all applicants must create a profile at fmcsa.dot.gov before being hired
  • 9 months of tractor-trailer experience within the past three years
  • Must be able to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, understand highway traffic signs and signals in English, respond to official inquiries, and make entries on reports and records
  • Additional qualifications will apply
