About the Job

Ruan is hiring drivers Class A CDL Flex drivers for our fleet. Our flex drivers never have to worry about not having enough work available, because we'll send you to where extra help is needed! These drivers will travel to various customers & operations around the United States and support the locations that are in need of extra coverage. Pay

Get paid weekly while earning $40 per hour straight time and averaging $104,000 per year! Flex drivers have the opportunity to make easy money during travel time to and from the operation being supported. Plus, earn $25 per diem per night spent away from home and have all travel expenses—flights, hotels, and rental cars—covered by Ruan!

Schedule

This role plays an impactful part of keeping our operations running smoothly. Drivers are out for five weeks at a time with one week off. Schedules and start times vary based on the operation being supported. Drivers on this account are guaranteed 50 hours per week with the opportunity to work more hours.

Equipment

Grow your career and experience by operating multiple types of equipment! There can be a mix of no-touch freight, driver assist, unloading, and tarping. Willing to obtain Tanker and Hazmat endorsements required; Ruan will assist in obtaining a Hazmat endorsement within 60 days of hire. Forklift experience preferred; Ruan will train. A Real I.D. and U.S. Passport are required.

Minimum Requirements

  • Must be at least 22 years or older
  • No more than three moving violations in the past three years (some restrictions apply)
  • No more than one DOT recordable preventable accident in the last three years
  • Additional qualifications will apply
  • With the Department of Transportation's Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse in effect, all applicants must create a profile at fmcsa.dot.gov before being hired
  • 9 months of tractor-trailer experience within the past three years
