About the Job

As a Ruan diesel mechanic, every day is exciting. Your day typically begins with a work assignment of either diagnostics or planned preventative maintenance. Next, you may tune up engines or replace brakes and perform other general fleet truck and trailer repairs. This is a Monday through Friday 8am-5pm position. 

You are eligible for:    

  • Work boot reimbursement
  • Tool reimbursement
  • Paid training

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Providing service and maintenance on customers' tractors and trailers.
  • Performing routine preventative maintenance inspections.
  • Completing state and federal inspections.
  • Diagnosing mechanical problems using charts, technical manuals, diagnostic equipment and experience.

 Qualifications

  • Certification from a diesel mechanic trade school preferred.
  • Ability to pass Ruan certification tests.
  • Candidate must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
  • Transmission, overhaul, engine and diagnostic experience required.
