Each year, Ruan honors the dedication and hard work of our truck drivers through our Driver of the Year program, recognizing those who embody safety, professionalism, and performance.
This long-standing tradition follows a multi-phase selection process across operational, regional, and national levels, ultimately bringing some of Ruan’s top-performing truck drivers to Des Moines, Iowa, to be recognized and celebrated for their exemplary actions and daily commitment to excellence. During the event, nominees attend an award ceremony where the Driver of the Year and Operation of the Year are announced.
Launching this year’s selection process, we are thrilled to name 164 Ruan drivers as 2025 Driver of the Year finalists. These individuals were nominated by leaders from across our organization and are acknowledged for their everyday commitment to safety while keeping Ruan’s Guiding Principles top of mind: People First, Safety Focus, Exceptional Performance, Enduring Partnerships, and Continuous Improvement.
We applaud this group of drivers, and all our driving team members, for the positive impact they make at Ruan, for our customers, and across the industry.
