At Ruan, our truck drivers are the core of our business. Their hard work and dedication ensure our customers remain satisfied and help keep the nation’s supply chains moving. To honor their contributions, we host an annual Driver of the Year celebration.
This long-standing tradition is designed to recognize drivers who demonstrate exceptional safety, professionalism, and performance across our organization. Earlier this year, leaders submitted nominations, and we’re proud to share that 136 professional drivers have been named 2024 Driver of the Year Finalists.
Later this summer, we’ll announce the 11 drivers chosen from our finalist list named to our Winners’ Circle, an elite group of drivers selected for their outstanding achievements. In September, these 11 honorees will travel to Ruan’s headquarters in Des Moines, Iowa, to participate in our annual Driver and Operation of the Year celebration.
As part of this event, Ruan’s senior leadership will select and recognize one individual as the 2024 Driver of the Year. This announcement will be made during a special ceremony at the World Food Prize Hall of Laureates.
