Last week, Ruan’s leadership team was honored to host a meeting with His Excellency Shaikh Abdulla bin Rashed Al Khalifa, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and his associates, David Hamod (President and CEO, National U.S.-Arab Chamber of Commerce) and Thomas Bezas (Chief of Staff to the Ambassador). The group had a great discussion about supply chain challenges and opportunities both in the United States and in Bahrain, and they traded valuable insights on the future of domestic and global transportation. Ruan CEO Ben McLean also joined His Excellency and leadership from the Greater Des Moines Partnership to discuss food security and how the World Food Prize is advocating for millions of individuals suffering from nutrition shortages.
