Ruan Partners with Do it Best to Strengthen Supply Chain Efficiency

Ruan, a trusted leader in Integrated Supply Chain Solutions, is pleased to announce a strategic partnership with Do it Best, one of the largest hardware, lumber, and building materials buying cooperatives in the United States. This collaboration aims to streamline and optimize Do it Best’s supply chain operations, enhancing delivery efficiency to serve its member-owned locations throughout the Midwest. By leveraging Ruan’s extensive expertise in transportation logistics, this partnership will enable Do it Best to strengthen its mission of providing exceptional service to independent hardware and lumber retailers.

Under the terms of the contract, Ruan and Do it Best established a start date of December 15, 2024. Ruan will be responsible for managing the Dixon, Illinois, fleet and 42 professional truck drivers, including recruiting, training and development, complying with all regulatory and safety requirements, and implementing an equipment and maintenance strategy to keep the operation running safely.
