Last month at the 2025 American Trucking Associations’ Safety, Security, and Human Resources (ATA SSHR) National Conference, Ruan was honored with five prestigious awards in recognition of its outstanding commitment to safety across various sectors of transportation and logistics.

The ATA’s National Truck Safety and National Industrial Safety Contests are among the most respected safety award programs in the transportation industry. These contests evaluate companies based on their safety records, policies, and proactive safety programs. The recognition is a testament to Ruan’s unwavering dedication to operational excellence and its safety-focused culture.

Ruan proudly took home the following honors:

First Place – Van/Small Truck Delivery – Unlimited Miles

Second Place – General Commodities Truckload, Line-Haul – 100-250 Million Miles

Third Place – Tank Truck, Line-Haul – Over 10 Million Miles

Third Place – Flatbed, Line-Haul – Unlimited Miles

Third Place – Industrial Safety Miscellaneous Category – Unlimited Employees

These awards underscore Ruan’s continued leadership in safety performance across multiple transportation sectors. Placing in such highly competitive categories is not only an honor but also a clear indicator of the effectiveness of Ruan’s safety programs and team engagement.

Blake Grolmus, Ruan’s Vice President of Safety, commented on the achievement by stating, “Ruan is honored to receive this recognition from the ATA. Our Safety Focus Guiding Principle and Megasafe Safety Program empower our team members with the tools, training, and resources needed to achieve safety success, but it’s our people that bring these habits to life. These awards are a direct reflection of the dedication of each Ruan driver, technician, and warehouse team member doing their part.”

The ATA SSHR Conference brings together safety professionals and industry leaders to exchange best practices and promote safety innovations in trucking. Ruan’s accomplishments at this year’s event not only reflect past performance but also sets the standard for ongoing excellence in safety operations.
