About the Job

Ruan is hiring for a yard spotter based in Cuyahoga Heights, OH, for our dedicated customer, Charter Steel. For more information, please call our Recruiting Hotline at (800) 879-7826.

Pay

$28.84 per hour. $68,000 to $75,000 average annual.  Get paid weekly and earn overtime after 40 hours.

Schedule

Enjoy a home daily Monday through Friday schedule with a 1 p.m. start time and have weekends off. 

Equipment

Move our dedicated fleet’s empty flatbed trailers to Charter Steel’s yard, secure the load, and return the trailer to Ruan's yard located ¼ mile from shipper’s yard.

Minimum Requirements

  • Must be at least 22 years or older
  • No more than three moving violations in the past three years (some restrictions apply)
  • No more than one DOT recordable preventable accident in the last three years
  • Additional qualifications will apply
  • With the Department of Transportation's Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse in effect, all applicants must create a profile at fmcsa.dot.gov before being hired
  • 9 months of tractor-trailer experience within the past three years
