About the Job

Ruan is hiring Class A CDL drivers to be based in El Paso, TX, to haul batteries in the southwest region for our dedicated national customer. Regional drivers will deliver palletized batteries via an electric pallet jack and pick up return core. For more information, please call our Recruiting Hotline at (800) 879-7826.

Pay

Get paid weekly while earning an average of $86,000 per year and $1,600 per week. Drivers are paid $25.50 per hour and $25 per diem.

Schedule

Drivers will have occasional mid-week home time and consecutive days off. Store delivery runs will depart on Monday and will be done on Friday or Saturday, depending on production seasons. Drivers will be out 5 days and typically have 2 trips per week, with anywhere from 1-25 stops per load. During off-peak season, drivers may temporarily assist other operations for 2 weeks. Assignments are based on rotation. Area of primary operations includes Texas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico.

Equipment

It is preferred that drivers have a Hazmat endorsement, which Ruan will assist to obtain within 90 days of hire.

Minimum Requirements

  • Must be at least 22 years or older
  • No more than three moving violations in the past three years (some restrictions apply)
  • No more than one DOT recordable preventable accident in the last three years
  • Additional qualifications will apply
  • With the Department of Transportation's Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse in effect, all applicants must create a profile at fmcsa.dot.gov before being hired
  • 9 months of tractor-trailer experience within the past three years
