About the Job

Ruan is hiring Class A CDL drivers to be based in Edgerton, KS, to haul furniture in dry van trailers for our dedicated customer. For more information, please call our Recruiting Hotline at (800) 879-7826.

Pay

Get paid weekly while earning activity-based pay at $0.66 per mile, $18 per hour after the first hour during a breakdown or delay and for eight hours on a holiday. Average $78,0000 - $85,000 per year, guaranteed $1,500 per week. Drivers must be available for the five working days per week with no PTO or missed days. 

Schedule

Be home weekly with a Monday through Friday schedule, having at least four layovers during the week. This is five-day workweek with a 7-8 a.m. start time, averaging 1,600 - 2,100 miles per week. 

Equipment

Drive sleeper and haul dry van trailers.

Minimum Requirements

  • Must be at least 22 years or older
  • No more than three moving violations in the past three years (some restrictions apply)
  • No more than one DOT recordable preventable accident in the last three years
  • Additional qualifications will apply
  • With the Department of Transportation's Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse in effect, all applicants must create a profile at fmcsa.dot.gov before being hired
  • 9 months of tractor-trailer experience within the past three years
