About the Job

Ruan is now hiring CDL Class A regional drivers based in Greencastle, PA, area to haul furniture our dedicated customer. These drivers will travel from Greencastle, PA, to Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and the Northeast states. For more information, please call our Recruiting Hotline at (800) 879-7826.

Pay

Earn up to $120,000 per year and an average of $1,923+ per week with a $1,500 per week guarantee! Drivers will have the choice to earn $0.54 per mile and $60 per stop..

Schedule

Be home on the weekends with a Monday through Friday or Sunday through Thursday schedule. This position has a.m. start times.

Equipment

Travel from Greencastle, PA, to Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and the Northeast states hauling furniture in 53' Dry Van trailers, delivering to furniture retailers. Drivers will tailgate furniture on occasion with a lift gate trailer and two-wheel dolly into the customers' stores.

What is your favorite part about driving at Ruan?

My favorite part is the quality of life, not being rushed, working days and sleeping at night, weekend home time that is not just 34 hours, and the pay and benefits cap it all off. I have never worked for another trucking company that emphasizes safety like Ruan does.

Why should someone switch from their current driving job to this?

This is probably the easiest driving job I have had, pay is great, low pressure, drive during the day and sleep at night and good home time.

We tailgate the product. How hard is that?

Once you learn how to leverage the product, the unloading is easy and is a welcomed break to driving.

Minimum Requirements

  • Must be at least 22 years or older
  • No more than three moving violations in the past three years (some restrictions apply)
  • No more than one DOT recordable preventable accident in the last three years
  • Additional qualifications will apply
  • With the Department of Transportation's Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse in effect, all applicants must create a profile at fmcsa.dot.gov before being hired
  • 9 months of tractor-trailer experience within the past three years
