About the Job

Ruan is now hiring Class A CDL drivers to haul hardware supplies in double dry van trailers for our dedicated customer based out of Rapid City, SD! For more information, please call our Recruiting Hotline at (800) 879-7826.

Pay

Drivers average $85,000 to $95,000 per year, paid by miles, stops and layover, plus earn a weekly safety bonus of $50!   Also, enjoy an average of 40% to 60% employee discount on United Hardware products!

Schedule

Drivers have a set 5-day work schedule working Saturday to Wednesday on a dedicated lane with multi stop delivery. Driver will go to Milbank, SD to pick a loaded set then deliver to various hardware stores in WY. Drivers average 2200 weekly miles with 13 to 16 stops and 4 layovers each week. 

Equipment

You will be driving 2024 Freightliner Sleepers with preloaded double trailers and use a power assist jack to tailgate pallets with some driver unload.

Minimum Requirements

  • Must be at least 22 years or older
  • No more than three moving violations in the past three years (some restrictions apply)
  • No more than one DOT recordable preventable accident in the last three years
  • Additional qualifications will apply
  • With the Department of Transportation's Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse in effect, all applicants must create a profile at fmcsa.dot.gov before being hired
  • 9 months of tractor-trailer experience within the past three years
