About the Job

 Ruan is hiring Class A CDL drivers to be based in Charlotte, NC, for our dedicated customer. For more information, please call our Recruiting Hotline at (800) 879-7826.

Pay

Earn $ 45.00/hr straight time with $ 25.00 per Diem for every night you are on the road while getting paid weekly.  Driver will earn $ 104,000/year based on a 55hr/week average.

Schedule

Drivers will be working 3 weeks minimum on the road and 1 week off and have the option to stay out longer if desired. On the driver’s week off they can work on the local Charlotte account to make extra money at the local terminal rate of pay. A hotel stay will be provided if desired for your 34hr reset during your weeks on the road. Trucks support a variety of different customers 24/7, so drivers must be flexible.

Equipment

Drive a 2025 Freightliner Sleeper while hauling a variety of trailers some with lift gates.

Minimum Requirements

  • Must be at least 22 years or older
  • No more than three moving violations in the past three years (some restrictions apply)
  • No more than one DOT recordable preventable accident in the last three years
  • With the Department of Transportation's Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse in effect, all applicants must create a profile at fmcsa.dot.gov before being hired
  • 9 months of tractor-trailer experience within the past three years
  • Must be able to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, understand highway traffic signs and signals in English, respond to official inquiries, and make entries on reports and records
