About the Job

Are you looking for an opportunity to expand your transportation knowledge and your people leadership skills? Ruan Transportation is hiring a overnight Yard Supervisor and driver for our Target DCs in Rialto and Fontana, CA.  In addition to yard duties, the Yard Supervisor will coordinate overall workflow of the driver group during shift and is primary liaison for team members and Target while on shift. Communications include safety observations, lunch completion, and tractor availability. This is a overnight Friday to Monday schedule, but Supervisor will need to be flexible with schedule based on where needed.  

• Overnight Yard Supervisor
• Based in Rialto and Fontana, CA
• Maneuver tractors and trailers at facility
• Communicate to workflow, safety observations, point of contact for team member questions and concerns as well as for customer
• Friday to Monday work week with 3 consecutive days off
• Friday – 16:30 start (10 hr shift) and Saturday through Monday–18:00 start (12 hr shift)
• Competitive pay plus overtime
• Previous yard experience and a class A CDL preferred
• Previous management/supervisory experience required

Minimum Requirements

• Must be at least 22 years or older
• No more than three moving violations in the past three years (some restrictions apply)
• No more than one DOT recordable preventable accident in the last three years
• Additional qualifications will apply
• One year of driving experience is required
• With the Department of Transportation's Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse in effect, all applicants must create a profile at fmcsa.dot.gov before being hired
