About the Job
You can start your career with Ruan and advance as far as your goals will take you. Ruan is proud to offer career paths that benefit our team members and have had many employees start as Utility Worker or Tech One and move up through the organization, even reaching the level of Senior Vice President.
Ruan technicians are more than just diesel mechanics; they are the engines that keeps our fleet running. Our diesel mechanics work on our fleet of late model trucks to diagnose and solve mechanical problems using state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment, perform routine preventative maintenance inspections, complete state and federal inspections, and more. Technicians enjoy competitive pay, paid training, and opportunity for advancement. Our technicians from across the company compete annually in our Top Technician Competition, which consists of an online knowledge test and series of hands-on skills stations. We send the top three finishers to TMC’s SuperTech competition.
