About the Job

Ruan is now hiring for a full-time Inventory Control Specialist at our distribution facility located in Madison, MS. This position will be Monday through Friday with a 1st shift schedule. Job responsibilities:

  • Compile and keep records of quantity, type, and value of material, property, equipment, merchandise, or supplies. 
  • Conduct counts of inventory and post totals. 
  • Verify record computations against physical count of inventory. 
  • Investigate and report reasons for discrepancies.
  • Perform other job-related duties and special projects as required.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 1-2 years of forklift and inventory management experience
  • Familiarity with and ability to utilize a warehouse management system (WMS)
  • Intermediate skills with Microsoft applications (Excel, Outlook, and Word)
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to pay close attention to details
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds
