National Truck Driver Appreciation Week is September 12-18, a time when our nation takes the time to recognize the professional truck drivers who are so essential to our economy and everyday lives. This past year, perhaps more than most, has highlighted just how important truck drivers are to how we live our lives. From toilet paper and groceries to oxygen and supplies for hospitals, professional drivers have kept our nation stocked and moving.
Transportation is the lifeblood of the nation. In our industry, we know professional truck drivers are real-life super heroes. They keep the world moving for all of us—delivering critical products and services to our stores, hospitals, gas stations, factories, building sites, and more. In times of crisis, such as Hurricane Ida, wildfires, or the power outages in Texas this year, our drivers have carried much-needed supplies to people across the country who need them the most. At times such as these, it's even more crucial that we show professional drivers our appreciation and support.
