2017 Open Enrollment: November 4 - 21
Open Enrollment is your opportunity to change, add, or drop your benefit elections for 2017. Review the new, updated materials on the "2017 Open Enrollment" screen, then use the login instructions on the "Ready to Enroll" screen to complete your elections.
Remember, not all plans or features roll over year-to-year, so it is to your advantage to go through the Open Enrollment process even if you wish to keep the same plans as before. Items that must be re-elected each year include: non-tobacco discounts; verification of a spouse's non-working status; and flexible spending accounts. Failure to re-elect/re-confirm these items will result in their cancelation on 1/1/2017.
A benefits letter with online enrollment instructions is mailed to eligible employees approximately two weeks after your start date. You have 60 days from your hire date to review your options and enroll in the program, with coverage effective on your 61st day. Note those hired in September and October will need to enroll twice- once for the remainder of 2016 and then again for 2017. REfer to the dual-year enrollment instructions included in your benefits letter.
