Customer Service Liaison

CSR ensures that loads are prepared correctly in the TMS for coverage by the Broker Team, to include load building and acceptance, appointment scheduling, etc. Interfaces directly with customers and cooperates with Account Management team to cultivate customer relationships.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Appoint pickup and delivery of loads.
  • Utilize preferred communication and scheduling methods / platforms per customer.
  • Enters loads into the system, either by manually building or through EDI acceptance
  • Alert customers to assessorial instances and operational occurrences as applicable.
  • Reviews scorecards with Manager of Business Dev. and Accounts along with Acct Managers in order to improve how we service each account.
  • Assist in trouble shooting OSD / Claims / RMA situations by providing factual, concise, collaborative communication between customer, appropriate Ruan personnel, Ops Manager, and Account Manager.
  • Perform other job-related duties and special projects as required.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/GED, Bachelor’s preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • 1-3 year’s transportation / operations experience and customer service.
