Ruan was recently honored with a 2015 Logistics Management Quest for Quality award in the bulk motors carriers section of the truckload category for the fifth consecutive year.
The winners are determined by a performance evaluation conducted by qualified Logistics Management readers. These readers are qualified buyers of logistics and transportation services who determine Quest for Quality Winners in the following categories: National LTL, Regional LTL, Truckload, Rail/Intermodal, Ocean Carriers, Ports, 3PL and Air Carriers and Freight Forwarders.
Transportation service providers are rated on five key criteria: on-time performance, value, information technology, customer service and equipment and operations. First, the scorers rank which of these attributes is the most important to create weighted scales in each category. This year the highest value was placed on the on-time performance attribute. Ruan received a score of 11.13 in this category, which is higher than the category’s average of 10.76.
Ruan had the third highest score overall in the bulk motor carriers section of the truckload category. According to Logistics Management, the truckload sector is by far the largest single piece of the trucking market.
